My Projects

Anna Dankyau's Salon Business in Bauchi State, Nigeria.
Anna's Beauty Salon had no working marketing strategy, nor advertising to convince passersby to visit her establishment. This was unfortunate, as her shop is located on a busy road in a competitive area. I led a team to create a full development plan including financial trackers, a receipt system, banner, and logo, fitted to her mission of empowering women in her village to feel confident and beautiful! We also fundraised money to support the purchases.

Huzaifa Hamza Rahma's Tailoring Business in Bauchi State, Nigeria.
Huzaifa Hamza Rahma had sold his shop to pay for heart surgery for his 6 year old daughter, who eventually passed away. He needed a way to provide for his family again, and my team helped him re-establish his business. by developing marketing strategies which included a custom logo for the business which we incorporated into clothing tags, stickers, and business cards. We also created a financial tracker and packaging plan.
ABLE. APP
I co--created ABLE., an app that aims to guide caregivers of autistic children by bringing resources and therapy right to their fingertips. It was built on MIT App Inventor, and hours of research and interviews went into the material. The app features an Autism 101 guide, cognitive function game, speech therapy, tracker, and more.

HOSA PSA about Tobacco Usage
I collaborated with a team to create and present a PSA about the dangers of smoking tobacco. Along with braisntorming creative ideas, filming, and conducting research, I created the final video using movie editing software. My team won 1st place at the state level and placed as a finalist at the international level.

HOSA Public Health Competitive Event- The Danger of Opioids
I collaborated with a team to creatively present about the danger of opioids. It integrated several parts, including a short skit, statistical information, and an interactive element. We won 1st place at the state level and 2nd place at the International Level.

Once Upon A Scrap
In 2020, I decided to start a handmade business that stemmed from my long-time passion for sewing. Once Upon A Scrap was born as a way for me to repurpose fabric scraps into accessories and decor. I sell through social media, markets, and a website.
